What does everyone think about Gilbert being the head coach? I love it, I think it was a great move by the Bonecrushers organization. I bet it will put more fans in seats since he's like a celebrity around here.

Yes I think that is awesome! I wonder if he'll do the gravedigger dance after every win.

is it true that the "coach" and coaching staff quit the team? In a major shakeup, Gilbert Brown, the former Green Bay Packers lineman and now head coach of the Milwaukee Bonecrushers, has resigned. Chris Kokalis, the franchise's general manager; defensive coordinator Gene Rhodes Jr.; and offensive coordinator Jeff Hermann also announced their resignations, it was announced today. The mass resignations apparently came because of what were called "irreconcilable differences" with the team's ownership group. The Bonecrushers are 0-3 in their inaugural season in the 15-team Continental Indoor Football League. In a joint statement, Kokalis and Brown said: "We're grateful for the opportunity to work with the Bonecrushers and help bring indoor football back to Milwaukee. The team was making progress. But we have irreconcilable differences with the ownership group of the Bonecrushers and feel it is best to move in a new direction. We wish the Bonecrushers continued success in their pursuit of a CIFL championship, and encourage football fans in southeastern Wisconsin to support this young, exciting team."

is it true that the "coach" and coaching staff quit the team? On this mornings "Bob and Brian" show on 102.9 the Hog they read a press release that Gilbert did in fact quit citing philisophical differencies with the general manger. They did not say any of the assistants quit. Funny how neither the CIFL site, Gilbert's site nor the Bonecrushers site have any news about it. Well, it just happened last night and the CIFL, Bonecrushers organization and & Gil are not happy about the situation so the last thing on everyone's minds is broadcasting it to the world. Besides, all media outlets have their resources and do that job best whenever there is news like this. And to correct you, the is more of the GM, Gil & coaching staff, and front office having differences with the owners. A press conference will be in order shortly, probably tomorrow.

I copied and pasted the clip from JSonline above.
So according to the listed coaches on their website this will leave the team with only two coahes:
ELISEO RAMIREZ Associate Head Coach/Special Teams Coach
MR. SHANE DL/OL Assistant Coach
and without a GM.

well there was a blog posted 2 weeks ago on the Kokalis’ marketing group behalf stating. no one had been paid includeing the players hadnt been paid. unfortunetly i can say the teams not going to finish the season. thats the basic's. id be pissed too if the franchise owners decided to rip everyone off and took all the money they made so far. and created an intentional flop. hopefully the Milwaukee iron wont sully franchising arena football in milwaukee. so my post is i'm done with the bonecrushers and in a sense i feel bad for gilbert and the rest of them. but im glad it happened now and there gonna flop then when i became a hardcore fan a few years down the road. tommorrow they will most likely announce them dropping out of the cifl for the rest of season. or theyll make some bs statement about how there going to try to keep there heads above water now. gilbert is not the only person to leave including players have posted on there myspaces that there officially leaving, with the coaching staff.

and for this reason is why the af2 makes teams pay so much to open and expansion in the league. so people who can just get a loan to front it dont make the whole league look bad. SHAUN W. TOTULIS Co-Owner I want you to tell all your alledged youth teams, how to rip people off. explain how its ok. A. A’RON WILLIAMS, III Co-Owner i wont hold it against you, that you went in with a buncha con artists its the name of the game i guess. and to the biggest loser of them all JOHN BURNS Co-Owner you suck and you need to buy a team to be able to play football you are pathetic. let the posting of this all over the internet begin.
for those who dont know they got gilbert brown to simply get free advertisement in wisconsin. They show that they clearly never planned on paying him or any of the staff/players. tommorrow im going to the midway hotel just to sit there and talk smack. to these pathetic owners. there just lucky gilbert brown is nice enough not to sue there ass's in the ground cause he knows hell spend more then there worth.

at first i just thought gilbert and the staff were pu&&y's and was pissed because even though they weren't that good i never missed a game. i'm still angry with the guys that quit but i will wait to hear the whole story tomorrow to decide if i'm going to another game (if there will be more games) i've been to all 3 games/family night mainly cause my boy starts on offensive but also to go and fun watching football. if the owners did this b.s. on perpose i will not be going back.

This is so rediculous !! I do think its terrible that the coaches all quit on there players, but from my understanding, there was an ultimatum given by someone and it wasnt met bye the owners so the staff all quit !! Not sure how much of it is true, but thats why we have the internet to gossip about it.
