The newspaper article said something like 19 of the 25 players left the team with Gilbert and the staff. Is that true? The official Bonecrusher site has the roster taken down and replaced with a note about a new revamped roster coming soon.
Anyone have any clue on what players they are adding? PLEASE tell me they are bringing in guys with INDOOR experience and not just a bunch of local semi-pro guys from the Ironman League or the NAFL. Having to re-teach a bunch of semi-pro guys the indoor game all over again is asking for 3 more straight lopsided losses.
I have no idea what the owners are doing but it kind of looks like they are trying to do the absolute league minimum to field a team, have games and avoid the $100,000 fine associated with folding a team. That is just my take, what do I know?

They are not trying to do the "absolute minimum" to field a team. Basically, a lot of the team decided to pack it in for one reason or another and we needed players. Now with there being a game this weekend we needed to get guys in here and up to speed. We have some guys that played in other indoor leagues, so we'll be fine. I know the guys that decided to stay will be helping the new guys acclimated. Let me just go on the record and say NONE OF THE PLAYERS WERE REPLACED BY THE NEW COACHING STAFF. THEY LEFT UNDER THEIR OWN ACCORD. We've had a few of the old guys come back to check it out and I expect to see a few more trickle in as we keep going. What people need to realize is it's about THE TEAM and the need to get better to win games.

i thought they would just grab some guys from the wolfpack. there is plenty of talent in Milwaukee and surrounding areas and i went from semi-pro to play some indoor and it really wasn't that big of a difference for me. the game is alot faster and some rules are different but its still football. i think whoever they get at DB will be an improvement. i think the 0/d line is strong but they need a qb if miauri can't/won't come back. I've been to every game and family night and i no matter what happens i'll be there for the next home game. i hope to see the crushers here for a long time.

I was at Wednesday nights practice...pretty impressive looking talent. Upwards of 40-45 players at the practice vying for spots on the roster. Definitely intense from the coaches and the players. I never got to see a practice under the old coaching staff, but Coach Tumbleson and his staff had these guys fired up. I would expect good things over the next couple of games!

most of those new players i seen last year in the ifl IFL players? Ugh! If they did not add players with indoor experience look for a winless season and at the end of the season look for them to fold or move to Madison (or somewhere in northern Illinois).

Hopefully some chemistry is built up soon. But for the record, the IFL All-Stars played an exhibition game in March against the Rock River Raptors 2nd-team offense and defense, and lost 61-20. Now I don't know if or how many of our new guys played that game, and I know it didn't count for anything but that showing is embarrassing. I want the best for this team, but it's gonna be hard to win games when you have all these new players 1/3 into the season.

It's been less that one week with the new players and coaches, it will not happen overnight. I would expect a major improvement this week vs Chicago over last week...and even more improvement for the 4/27 game against Miami.
The already small bandwagon seems to be getting smaller by the second...typical Milwaukee sports fans...ready to bail at a moments notice!

Typical Milwaukee fans? Your a moron. the fans and team got shaken up when everyone quit (almost everyone) check with any fans of new teams, when something like this happens they look to blame and some realize there team ain’t worth the football they throw into the crowd (which they don’t anymore because they have no money) weather fans are right or wrong its there right to be upset and turn there backs or step back from the team. Why should they spend there money for a team that doesn't know what the hell they are doing (not saying the crushers don’t) it would be like this in any city for any team that’s would be going through this. I have been to every game and will continue to go but i will not be "back on the band wagon" until they prove they can at least compete against a team that has a win. Just grabbing Franklin outlaws and throwing them into the mix may not be the answer. i wish them success and hope they are here next year but i will sit with a beer and a frown at the game until they show me some steps in the right direction.

Can someone PLEASE post the new roster? I am curious to see how many original players are still with the team. I am also looking for a count of how many IFL locals now fill the roster.
Does anyone on the team, other than Tyrcha and Mauiri, have ANY indoor experience?

The already small bandwagon seems to be getting smaller by the second...typical Milwaukee sports fans...ready to bail at a moments notice! Sounds like you are one those involved with this Wisconsin Wolfpack crew. Fans ready to bail.... haha your right. The organization lets an icon in this community walk away from his position with no arguments. Someone who also drew in a lot of fans and sponsors alone, do you blame them? Every fan is a fan for different reasons. Like I've said many times before, I worked with the former staff and was thrown out just because I was loyal to them. I created this d**n fansite, to show how much I love indoor football in Milwaukee, before I worked with the staff. Things went South for me worse than the typical fan, but I'm still here to support this team. You have those that are on this message board and check our sites all the time, which are also upset with the situation but will still go to games and show their support. Why? Because they either love football or the games are entertaining or they want to bring their kids to a fun-environmental event or they have nothing else to do that day, etc. etc. etc. Sports fans are easy to please and it's even easier for them to criticize, you'll find that ANYWHERE IN THIS WORLD! The team is 0-4 so everyone is going to question this team and organization, so deal with it.

I think one thing that is not being covered about the fans that are upset about what is going on is that it feels like the Team isn't being all that honest and open with the fans. I bought two sets of season tickets and all I hear is how the team is falling apart. Yes I'm upset. I've e-mailed the team 4 times with no response. That is upsetting. They want the fans to be happy? It's not all about the dang gone t-shirts and the music and the cheerleaders. I've coached for a US Army team and two High Schools in Texas and the fans were there because they won. I know that the team is new but come on. We are upset because for 4 games we haven't seen any growth with the team. Now we don't have the "Team" together and the season is almost over and they have to start from the new. How can a coach build a team around that! How can fans welcome a Owners Group that isn't open with the fans. You want me to stop complaining about the team...Start with answering my E-mails.

I agree with scolburn. It took the NAFL six weeks to get a media pass to cover their players on the Bonecrushers.
It took me over a week of daily phone calls to find out what 'rules' were in place regarding fans and their photography. I got a message from the GM through the front office(he couldn't answer it himself. Classy) saying that they were not allowing any other photographer other than their staff guys(whose quality was(is?) questionable and reliability in updating galleries non-existant).
But! After a loooooong, drawn out duel of unanswered emails and phone calls, my guy in the NAFL FINALLY got a hold of the right person to issue a media pass.
Yeesh.

A have a list of players that were in the stats of last Saturday's game. A couple names are wrong like Hutchins didn't play, and Chorszy as the kicker. There numbers were on the field but it seems as if someone on our end forgot to submit a list of names to the head scorers.
About the media passes, I'm not 100% if those will work anymore because they were all made and issued by the front office staff which is no longer with the team. The owners may decide to change the look of them so former staff with those passes can't get in like they use to. So you might want to contact them again about these passes, or don't be surprised if you can't get in with them.

Yippie.
Guess I'd better call another 34 times so I can get a vague answer.
